Cartoon Saturday

It's hot, the presidential campaign drags on, and everybody's hacking everybody else. Oy.

More than a million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 telephones were recalled this week after the discovery that their batteries could catch fire while charging; Democratic presidential wannabe Hillary Clinton returned to campaigning after recovering from a bout of pneumonia; according to Donald Trump's son Donald Junior, the GOP candidate will not release his tax returns because "it would detract from his main message;" China launched its second space lab, Tiangong-2, on Thursday, taking another step toward its goal of a manned space station to rival the ISS; and the Department of Justice has issued subpoenas to Wells Fargo as part of an investigation into the opening of millions of fraudulent accounts at the bank.

As the election campaign drags on, what could be more appropriate than a collection of cartoons dealing with ... election campaigns? Let's go ...

All the amateur competition must be getting the professional clowns down ...

Good question. At least as good a question as those being asked by the media of the candidates ...

The population does need to be culled ...

Yes. Yes, it does ...

Some people would. I see it every day ...

One of the best cartoons, ever ...

Truth in advertising ...

Just what the doctor ordered. Oh, wait ... we have no idea what the doctor may or may not have ordered for Mr Trump. Never mind ...

Good medical advice ...

I can see this one coming from the Don Rickles of presidential wannabes ...

That's all. I figured you'd need something to laugh about to keep you from crying as November 8th draws near.

I'll be headed down to Richmond with Agnes later this morning as she takes part in a quilt show and - hopefully - manages to sell a quilt or two. Or six. Or a dozen. If there's one thing we have, it's quilts. If you're in the area, stop by and bring your checkbook.

Have a good day and a great weekend. More thoughts tomorrow.

There should be a choice of None Of The Above, but then someone would change their name to that....
